Transplanting St. John's Wort seedlings enables growers in short growing season areas to get a head start on the season. In addition you can plant seedlings into a well prepared weed free bed, and plants are consistent in habit. (Direct seeding often gives inconsistent results and weeds tend to germinate at the same time as the tiny St. John's Wort seedlings) Our seedlings are 3"- 4" high when shipped.

Order St. John's Wort seedlings now,
for the 2000 growing season.

We use the variety "Topaz" which is later flowering but gives a higher Hypericum level than other varieties. These plants transplant well. They do require watering at transplanting time. All our seedlings are hardened off, are vigorous, and give you an excellent head start on the growing season. St. John's Wort (Hypericumperforatum) is hardy to Zone 3. Prices for St. John's Wort seedlings are as last year: CAN .40¢ each for orders over 500 plants and CAN .50¢ each on orders of 500 plants or less. Taxes additional where applicable. Shipped in flats of 128 seedlings.
St John's Wort has been declared a noxious weed in some areas. A special license or restrictions may apply in your locality.
